Sai Kai Yat Po’s main focus was reporting news from Macau and nearby areas. Articles included court news, sport news, radio programme content and schedules for Liuyi Yinyue She. Regular columns included ‘Daily Fiction’, ‘Story-telling’, ‘The Unofficial History of Red Boat’, ‘Breeze and Moon over Pearl River’. It also published a supplement titled Da Qian (‘Boundless World’). The paper leaned towards the Nationalist Party (KMT). As well as in Macau, it also had distributors in Zhongshan, Wuyi and Xinhui.
